2021 was another difficult year for small businesses and people in general. The ravages of COVID-19 remained during the beginning of the year, and, just when we thought it was safe to go out again, variants of the disease reared their ugly faces. In many states, including California, we are ending 2021 with another surge in COVID cases.
However, we at Reyes Entertainment have kept calm and carried on with our work helping clients in various industries reach new heights in brand awareness and value. Our work throughout the year was not limited to public relations in English and Spanish, we also helped clients to create and implement social media, marketing, and advertising campaigns as well as event production. As Generalists, Reyes Entertainment’s work includes, but is not limited to, the areas of Entertainment, Media, Lifestyle, Film and Music, Restaurants/Dining, and Grassroots/Community Affairs. Following is a summary of our work in 2021.

Fisher Space Pen. Reyes Entertainment is proud of our longstanding relationship with Fisher Space Pen, the iconic brand with a storied history in space exploration, known and loved around the world for its unique functionality, design, and durability. In 2021, Fisher Space Pen and founder Paul C. Fisher were inducted into Space Foundation’s Space Technology Hall of Fame, recognizing the groundbreaking technology invented by Paul Fisher, which not only helps astronauts write in space but also makes life better on Earth. Fisher Space Pen products were recently featured on FOX & Friends Made in America Products Showcase, as well as The New York Times, NY Magazine/The Strategist, Vice Media, Yahoo! News, Reader’s Digest, and Today.com, among many others. Reyes Entertainment also created organic social media content for the company’s Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter pages as well as advertising campaigns on Facebook and Instagram.
In July 2021, Fisher Space Pen created a commemorative Infinium Space Pen emblazoned with Virgin Galactic’s Evolution of Flight logo, used by Sir Richard Branson and the Unity 22 Crew to sign the flight log before their historic spaceflight. The company also donated a Fisher Apollo 11 50th Anniversary Limited Edition Space Pen & Coin Set to fly aboard Inspiration4, the first all-civilian mission to orbit which launched on a SpaceX rocket on September 15. The space-flown set was auctioned to raise funds for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Fuente Latina. Reyes Entertainment was instrumental in amplifying the work of Fuente Latina, a non-profit organization dedicated to disseminating news and information about Israel and the Middle East to Spanish-language media and influencers. Our work garnered multiple placements on Spanish-language networks Telemundo and Univision.
Farmworker Justice Awards – Los Angeles. Reyes Entertainment played a major role in the successful Farmworker Justice Awards – Los Angeles. Reyes Entertainment was responsible for event media relations, celebrity attendance, red carpet management and contributed to certain aspects of event production. Reyes Entertainment garnered significant media placements in Entertainment Tonight and People Magazine.
MUSIC, FILM, EVENT PRODUCTION
Charo. Reyes Entertainment also enjoys a longstanding relationship with iconic flamenco guitarist, actress, and comedienne CHARO. Our agency manages Charo’s concert appearances as well as her Film, TV development slate, and her social media. Reyes Entertainment was responsible for the creation of Charo’s new website and worked with her on creating new video content for her YouTube and social media feeds. Her Instagram has reached over 200K and nearly 50K on Facebook as well as over 16K on Twitter. Charo recently appeared RuPaul’s “The Bitch Who Stole Christmas,” and will soon announce other TV projects for 2022.
Tony Succar. Reyes Entertainment was proud to represent Latin Grammy winner and 2022 Grammy nominee Tony Succar, garnering multiple media placements in English and Spanish for his documentary Más de Mí and Great Performances’ Roots of Latin Jazz, throughout the U.S. as well as Latin America. Reyes Entertainment secured entry of “Más de Mí” into Take 2: The Panamanian International Film Festival in Los Angeles for which the film won The Audience Award for Best Feature Film. Among Reyes Entertainment’s top media placements are Entertainment Tonight, People en Español, Associated Press en Español, Billboard, LA Times en Español, Primera Hora – Puerto Rico, Radio Colombia, Televisión Perú, and many others.
Take 2: Panamanian International & East L.A. Film Festival 2021 Edition: In the areas of Film, Marketing, Advertising, and Event production, Reyes Entertainment played a pivotal role in the in-person return of the Panamanian International Film Festival L.A. and East L.A. Film Festival 2021 edition as “Take 2.” Reyes Entertainment garnered multiple media placements and secured media sponsorships from LA Times en Español and The Los Angeles Times. Reyes Entertainment also secured Opening Night Film “Más de Mí,” and the attendance of Tony Succar, star and producer of the film, winner of the Audience Award for Best Feature. We also secured the Closing Night film “Gaytino! Made in America,” and the attendance of its start Dan Guerrero. The Film won the award for Best Feature. Reyes Entertainment also participated in the creation of Marketing and Advertising materials as well as Event Production.
Mariachi Sol de México de José Hernàndez. Reyes Entertainment is also proud of its longstanding relationship with Mariachi Sol de México de José Hernández, representing its annual Mariachi Nationals, summer music workshop for students and educators as well as its Merry Achi Christmas Tour, which took the group to over 15 cities in Washington State, Oregon, California, Arizona, and Texas. Reyes Entertainment secured multiple media placements for the tour including radio and print in all the major markets as well as Radio Bilingüe network, Telemundo, and Univision.
Casa Del Sol Cocina Mexicana. Reyes Entertainment also provided media support for the opening of Casa Del Sol Cocina Mexicana, Maestro José Hernández new Mexican restaurant in Orange County. The restaurant was featured on KTLA Morning News as well as Orange County Register, among other print and online media outlets. Reyes Entertainment also secured posts, stories, and mentions from Instagram Food and Dining Influencers.
